Senior Business Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to define business requirements and translate how they will be supported within our software solutions
  • Define project implementation approach, generate project plans, and related budget estimates
  • Interact with senior client staff (including C level executives and Controllers)
  • Analysis and design of business processes
  • Data analysis and conversions
  • Evaluate alternatives and lead system design and configuration
  • Collaborate with internal software engineers and business analysts to enhance our product
  • Draft specifications for enhancements & system integrations
  • Build test plan/approach and lead execution
  • Conduct end user training

Experience

  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience assisting with implementing enterprise software applications (hedge fund or private equity experience a plus)
  • Prior employment at a consulting firm or software solutions firm is preferred
  • G/L accounting system knowledge is preferred. A/R and A/P a plus
  • Minimum education requirement – Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management or Business Management. Coursework in Accounting a plus

Senior Developer

As a Senior Developer, you will work in a team-oriented environment, playing a key role in building new applications, and enhancing existing systems. The position provides the opportunity to learn new technologies and grow with the firm.

Qualifications

  • Education – Must have a BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
  • Can work effectively in a team of engineers as well as independently
  • Full stack experience is a must.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design, application, and architectural design patterns
  • Solid understanding of C# .NET programming language
  • Ability to design implement ASP.Net MVC applications.
  • An understanding of MVVM is a plus
  • Proficient in writing SQL (e.g. SP, Functions) and a general understanding of SQL Server backend systems
  • Has utilized different source control systems (e.g. TFS, SVN, GIT)
  • Has used MS Visual Studio 2015 or above
  • Ability to design, analyze and modify programming systems including coding, testing, debugging and documenting work
  • Proficient in using JavaScript and JQuery
  • Experience implementing and consuming restful Web APIs
  • Experience using at least one front-end JS framework (e.g. Angular, React, etc.)
  • Responsive web development experience is a big plus
  • Experience with cloud services and SaaS systems is a big plus
  • Experience with commercial UI controls for ASP.NET MVC (Kendo UI preferred) is a big plus

In Sales Development, you will work closely with your sales colleagues to help investment managers automate their business to improve efficiency and ensure compliance. You will qualify leads, execute campaigns, and work alongside senior sales representatives to understand executive challenges and develop relationships that convert prospects into clients.

    • Implementation of EAS at a Fund Administrator that will be using for multiple clients of theirs
  • Analyze client provided Excel spreadsheets that contain models for calculating allocation of expenses to various legal entities
  • Prepare specifications for system generated custom calculations
  • Analyze reporting requirements and create mock-ups and detailed requirements
  • Analyze process workflows and define how they will be accomplished within our software solution
  • Collect various types of data, analyze and scrub as needed and load into database tables
  • Prepare procedural documentation and train stakeholders on use of system
  • Map data elements to assist with automating system to system data interfaces

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Business Administration/Finance
